This Schneider Charge accessory is a charging control device designed to supplement the charging station. It is intended for use in a single-phase network. The device can be operated at a voltage of 220–230 V~, with a tolerance of +/-10%, and at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. It enables real-time control of the maximum power supplied to the electric vehicle charger according to the consumption of other appliances in the home. This setting is configured manually by the user, with 6 current values selectable in the range between 16 A and 50 A. It must be installed indoors on a 35 mm DIN rail. It communicates with the charging station via the household electrical network (Power Line Communication). Local status indication is provided by a red LED under default conditions and by a green LED during the control process. Another green LED indicates when the device is communicating with the charging station. Its dimensions are 93 mm (width) × 70 mm (height) × 69 mm (depth). The product weighs 196 g. It is white and made of plastic. The operating temperature is between -30°C and 50°C, while the storage temperature is between -40°C and 85°C. It complies with EN 61010-1 (2010 edition) and EN 61326-1 (2013 edition).
